The exam consists of 200 multiple-choice questions covering six knowledge domains, including donor research, securing gifts, relationship building, volunteer involvement, leadership, and ethics. The exam is offered in four testing windows annually, each with specific deadlines.

3. <strong>Recertification:</strong> After initial certification, maintaining the CFRE requires recertification.
