The university also inserted ADA language into vendor contracts and purchasing agreements to hold third-party platforms accountable.<br /><br />NSU’s digital footprint is broad, including thousands of web pages, PDFs, course materials, social media, mobile apps, and digital marketing assets. The university uses weekly ADA updates, “ADA Tips of the Week,” employee resources, training partnerships, accessibility timelines, and internal support structures to keep progress visible and ongoing.<br /><br />The presentation also highlights challenges such as limited resources, vendor constraints, evolving standards, and the need for sustained training amid employee turnover. Key lessons include starting early, inventorying all digital assets, embedding accessibility into workflows, and treating compliance as a long-term, institution-wide commitment rather than a one-time project.
