Danielle Lamothe is a bilingual association and adult learning professional with extensive experience leading non-profit organizations. She is a Certified Training and Development Professional (CTDPÔ), a Certified Association Executive (CAEâ) and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Laurentian University.
Prior to joining CCAE, Danielle served as Vice-President of Learning and Innovation with the Canadian Society of Association Executives, where she led the development of the Competencies for Association Executives and the redevelopment of the Certified Association Executive program. She was previously the Executive Director of French for the Future and started her non-profit journey as Director, Professional Services with the Canadian Society for Training and Development (now the Institute for Performance and Learning).
Danielle is passionate about lifelong learning and believes professional associations are key to elevating performance across sectors through connection, collaboration and education. A skilled facilitator and presenter, she enjoys creating impactful professional development activities that address the needs of diverse learners. Danielle is committed to incorporating the UN sustainable development goals into operational practices and to fostering communities where everyone can feel a sense of belonging. She also enjoys exploring and implementing technology that can improve the member experience.
She is a proud member of the board of directors for Jessie’s —— The June Callwood Centre for Young Women. Danielle lives in Toronto with her daughter and believes one does not require talent to sing loudly and often.
