Artificial intelligence is rapidly reshaping the tools and strategies available to advancement professionals. This session explores how institutions are thoughtfully integrating AI into fundraising, research, communications, and operational workflows. Panelists from Skidmore College, Bay Path University and Dartmouth will share practical examples—from organizing internal AI learning communities to evaluating AI for direct fundraising and leveraging AI for marketing, research, and project management. Participants will gain insight into how advancement teams can encourage innovation while maintaining strategic alignment, ethical considerations, and measurable outcomes.




Monica Keith
, Associate Vice President, Development Operations at Bryant University 

Monica Keith has worked in higher education advancement for over 25 years – and currently serves as Associate Vice President of Development Operations at Bryant University.  She has a great appreciation for advancement work and higher education,  working collaboratively to leverage data and technologies to drive strategy, provide strategic data analysis, research and identify opportunities related to engagement, fundraising and philanthropic support.  She is active in professional organizations including CASE and AASP, presented at various conferences and published best practices and chapters in books on advancement services and management.  She earned undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University at Albany in New York.






David Hargadon
, Executive Director, Advancement Operations and Prospect Development at Skidmore College


David Hargadon currently serves as Interim Collyer Vice President for Advancement at Skidmore College, where he also leads advancement operations and prospect development. He is a member of the College’s Presidential AI Working Group and Advancement AI Working Group. David has held a range of advancement operations and prospect management roles across higher education, academic healthcare, and independent schools, including serving as a senior consultant at the Helen Brown Group, where he co-founded the Data Insight team. He is a graduate of Siena College.






Adam Zinkievich
, Director of Advancement, Bay Path University and Cambridge College


Adam Zinkievich is Director of Advancement at Bay Path University and Cambridge College, where he manages a portfolio of major gift prospects and supports alumni and donor engagement through innovative, relationship-driven strategy. A proud Bay Path graduate, he earned his Master of Science in Nonprofit Management and Philanthropy in 2013 and served on the University’s Alumni Association Council before joining its Advancement Office in 2021, where he has had several roles since. He also oversees two Virtual Engagement Officers, developed with Version2.ai and powered by Givzey, and serves on the CASE District I Educational Programming Committee and the Board of Directors for the Young Professional Society of Greater Springfield. He has also served as a CASE Circle of Excellence judge and looks forward to attending the 2026 Spring CASE Major Gift Strategies Conference.






Catherine Darragh
, Associate Director, Dartmouth School of Arts and Sciences/Division of Undergraduate Education 

Catherine Darragh is the Associate Director of Programming, Operations, and Marketing at Dartmouth’s Center for Career Design, where they create high-impact career programs and streamline operations to make resources accessible and inclusive for students, alumni, and families.Previously, they worked in Dartmouth Advancement producing major events, supporting COVID-19 reopening efforts, and launching initiatives including the Dartmouth Book Club, regional networking programs, and the award-winning “Diverse Voices: 50 for 50” project. They hold an MBA from the University of Southern Maine and a BA from Dartmouth in Theater and Classical Archaeology, and bring a strong commitment to DEIB. Outside of work, Catherine stage manages at local theaters, serves on the Dartmouth Club of the Upper Valley board, and bakes gluten-free treats.
