November: Innovative approaches to engage your alumni community

Join us for a practical session on designing inclusive, high-impact engagement programs that connect communities and strengthen institutional reputation. Jovana and Joe will share how they revitalized alumni relations through innovative mentoring platforms and large-scale events, and how reimagined communications, from staff newsletters to student campaigns and digital storytelling, can unite staff, students and alumni around shared goals and strategic priorities.

The Alumni Relations Coffee Chat offers informal networking, providing a space to hear best practice examples from our community and discuss challenges, ideas and opportunities. These conversations are free and open to all CASE members (with a fee for non-members), taking place at 13:00–14:00 (GMT) → 14:00–15:00 (CET) on the third Thursday of each month.

Speakers:
Jovana Panić, Head of Alumni Relations, ESMT Berlin
Joe Perry, Internal Communications Manager, University of Leicester

December: Automating and analysing alumni data

Join us for an insightful session on using data to transform alumni relations and decision-making. The Erasmus team will share how they built a dynamic Power BI dashboard that integrates thousands of alumni records into one real-time platform, automated the majority of reporting tasks to free time for strategic engagement, and created a scalable tool that gives faculty and leaders transparent access to data-driven insights.

Speaker:
Bruno Hasa, Alumni Relations Manager, Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University

January: Approaches to elevating alumni

Join us for a creative session on delivering distinctive, high-impact alumni experiences that build pride and connection. Natalie and Aisling will share how imaginative initiatives like alumni showcases and celebration events can strengthen institutional identity, bring students, staff and alumni together, and demonstrate that meaningful engagement and visibility are achievable even on a limited budget.

Speakers:
Natalie Welch, Alumni Engagement Manager, UWE Bristol
Aisling Roche, Alumni Relations Officer, Munster Technological University

February: Interactive approaches to storytelling

Join us for an inspiring session on storytelling that celebrates community, diversity and legacy. Grace and Réka will share how creative alumni features, anniversary publications and powerful personal stories can surface unheard voices, connect generations and showcase success in ways that build pride, deepen belonging and enhance institutional visibility.

Speakers:
Grace Sims, Communications Content Manager, University of Bristol
Réka Sári, Alumni Lead, American International School of Budapest

March: Amplifying alumni voices through podcasts and magazines

Join us for an engaging session on transforming alumni storytelling and communications. Alex and Ellie will share how new formats like podcasts and interactive digital magazines can build pride, strengthen alumni connections and support career development, while aligning content with wider strategic goals such as social mobility, institutional reputation and re-engaging lapsed alumni.

Speakers:
Alex Best, Alumni Relations Officer, University of Hertfordshire
Ellie Stone, Head of Fundraising and Alumni Communications, King's College London
