Feel like you and your advancement team could achieve even greater impact? Want to take an hour and invest in your leadership? This session will create space to practice several leadership habits that will help you sustain personal excellence. We will also dive into topics that help you strengthen the components of effective organizational leadership like coaching toward organizational and individual performance goals and establishing the team rhythms and culture to create elevation gains in your team’s advancement strategies.

Meet the Speaker
John Wolfkill, Executive Director, Community College of Aurora Foundation

Joining the Community College of Aurora Foundation (CCAF) as Executive Director in 2016, Wolfkill is responsible for leading the Foundation’s strategic fundraising plan and activities to support the Community College of Aurora (CCA). His primary efforts focus on the foundation’s scholarship program, capital campaigns, and supporting various new program launches at the college. He is leading efforts that have already secured $16 million for CCA’s Center for STEM, Power Mechanics, and Applied Technologies building that will open in Fall 2025. He has worked with board, staff, college leadership and community partners to increase total scholarship awards from $220,000 in 2016 to nearly $800,000 in 2023 and developed internal strategies and cross-college partnerships to support scholarship recipients to earn more than 87% of credits attempted with an average GPA of 3.2 regardless of gender or ethnicity.
