Collaborating in a Crisis: Advancement, Student Affairs and Emergency Funding
About
Approximately 3 million students drop out of college each year due to a financial crisis of less than $500, a statistic that was amplified by the COVID-19 pandemic. This webinar will provide a deeper look at how one large, public institution took a decentralized approach to emergency funding and created one university-wide process that awarded $5 million to 4,500 applicants in just 10 months. A focus on the key role Advancement played in partnering with Student Affairs to raise both awareness and money to support students will be discussed.
