Join CASE President and CEO Sue Cunningham for a series of leadership conversations geared specifically for senior leaders of advancement at their institutions. These conversations will feature university presidents and vice chancellors, chief advancement officers, and other top thinkers and will address leadership issues and challenges in the ways only CASE can address: by drawing upon the unique asset of CASE’s global membership – bringing together leading voices from Australia, Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States, and convening you and your peers in conversation with them and each other.
Space for this series is limited. We invite you to join a cohort of leaders for these online conversations over the next 6 months, with additional opportunities to connect in person at CASE’s signature regional convenings.
Session One: 20 January 2026 | 11:00 am - Noon ET | 16:00 - 17:00 UTC/GMT
Advancing Education in Complex Times
This conversation will bring together institution leaders who have occupied the role of president/vice chancellor in different countries for their candid perspective on the president’s role in advancing the institution during complex – and even fraught – times.
Session Two: February TBA
Reputation, Reputation, Reputation
Across our membership, institutions are grappling with declining public perception and trust in higher education. This session brings together leaders of key national associations – Universities Australia, Universities Canada, Universities UK and the American Council on Education to discuss efforts to turn the tide.
Session Three: March TBA
Advancing Education Globally – Why it Matters More than Ever
Higher education is an inherently international activity. How are leaders responding to rising challenges for transnational student and faculty movement? What is its impact on the institution? How is that shaping their approach to partnerships, student recruitment, alumni engagement and faculty recruitment.
CASE will continue the leadership conversations in person in 2026 at CASE APAC, the Canadian Council for Advancement of Education National Summit, and the CASE Summit for Advancement Leaders, and the CASE Europe Annual Conference.
