George Cotton serves as Vice Chancellor for Institutional Advancement at the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff, where he leads alumni engagement, philanthropic partnerships, and student opportunity initiatives. A seasoned advancement professional with more than three decades of experience across higher education and community nonprofits, he brings deep personal commitment to education's transformative power — shaped by a scholarship that opened doors he never imagined growing up in West Helena, Arkansas. Beyond advancement leadership, he is a motivational speaker, career coach, and personal development trainer who believes wholeheartedly in people's ability to remake their lives and uplift their communities, guided by a simple purpose: to leave the world better than he found it.
