Strategic Alumni Fundraising for Community Colleges
About
CASE understands that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to alumni fundraising, especially for community colleges. Unlike universities with centuries-old alumni networks and big alumni relations teams, community colleges often face the complex challenge of having a limited budget to reconnect with alumni who relocate and/or receive more frequent updates from their four-year alma maters. Some community colleges have shifted their fundraising programs towards corporations and local philanthropists, investing less in alumni fundraising. Others pour resources into alumni events that, while successful, sometimes feel like exhausting one-hit wonders.

So, what’s a community college advancement leader to do in this landscape? The anxiety is real, but you’re not alone.
