Rob Henry brings more than 35 years of visionary leadership and management experience across higher education and advancement. As Vice President of People, Culture, and Talent at CASE, he leads global strategic initiatives that advance the organisation’s mission through inclusive human resource practices, talent development, and inclusive excellence-centered leadership. In this role, he provides overarching direction to cultivate cultures of belonging, enhance and talent pipelines throughout CASE’s global enterprise.
Henry previously served as CASE’s Vice President of Education, where he oversaw strategic planning and execution for conferences, research, the CASE Library, inclusion programmes, and student advancement. His inaugural role at CASE was Executive Director of Emerging Constituencies (Chief Diversity Officer). In that capacity, he spearheaded efforts to engage underserved U.S. and global audiences, expanding advancement pathways through student engagement, professional development, and capacity-building.
Before joining CASE, Henry held leadership roles at Yale University, including Director of Individual Giving, where he oversaw comprehensive annual and special gift fundraising, major donor cultivation, and volunteer engagement for the Yale School of Management. His advancement career began at Michigan State University. It included service as Assistant Vice President at the University of Connecticut Foundation, where he developed robust fundraising programs grounded in strategic infrastructure and market potential.
Throughout his career, Henry has consistently elevated institutional support and engagement while championing talent development. His training and market-building efforts have reached audiences across Africa, Europe, Australia, and South America, positioning him as a global ambassador for advancement practices.
A recipient of CASE’s Crystal Apple Award for Teaching Excellence (2006), Henry holds a bachelor’s degree in speech communication from Murray State University and a master’s in communication and public address from Eastern Michigan University, where he serves on the EMU Foundation Board of Trustees.
