This panel will explore the unique challenges and opportunities LGBTQ+ leaders in the advancement field face, recognizing that our diverse journeys inform our leadership styles. Panelists will share their experiences centering their identities, both what worked and what didn’t, and get ideas for how you and your team members can develop leadership traits, draw strength from your identity, build relationships with donors, alumni and students and gain practical advice for staying true to yourself while navigating a predominantly non-LGBTQ world in a particularly challenging time. We will offer Zoom breakout rooms to provide an opportunity to network and continue the conversation in smaller groups.
