Philanthropy has the power to advance social justice, and it often does. But how do we ensure it is done in an ethical manner? How do we help donors process the social justice implications of their philanthropy? This presentation uses examples from the field to explore frontline fundraising through the lens of social justice-oriented theories. Participants will walk away with a framework through which they can consider how they advance social justice in their practice.
