Fundraising is a team sport, and the advancement (aka development) office will be your best teammate. In this module you’ll learn about the donor cycle and how you and the advancement office can work together to maximize your philanthropic support.

While no two fundraising teams are the same, this module will take you through the components of fundraising you may be asked to contribute to at your institution. From your role in each part of the donor cycle to creating the philanthropic vision and building a case for support, this module will touch on the key things you need to know as you dive into the wonderful world of fundraising.

Making the Ask Workshop

For many, the idea of making an ask for support is the most daunting aspect of development. The truth is, with preparation and practice, your confidence and comfort will increase dramatically. This interactive virtual session will help you prepare for your ask meeting, overcome your fear, and workshop your ask.
This session will be recorded, but you are encouraged to attend live to make the most of the experience.
